ABOUT TL
The Lesser is a touring rock band from south-central Kansas, producing edgy mainstream rock with a message of hope in mind. Formerly known as the band "Sonlit" from 2008-2010, The guys worked with bands such as Decyfer Down, Vota, Manic Drive, Abandon, and shared the stage with many more. After two years of regional touring and many life changes, Sonlit took a break...But not for long.
Lead singer Jim Galliardt worked on "The Lesser" ep in 2011 with Riley Freisen (Vota) and Philip Zach (Remedy Drive), producing a new, bold rock sound for a new band. In late 2011 a few original members, Ben Walker and Caleb Anderson, joined back with Galliardt to form "The Lesser." With desperate lyrics and driving sounds, TL's story of hope that mends brokeness is moving fans all over the midwest."We hope to not just bring a great show and high quality rock to people, but also a relevant message that gives people more of a reason to live, a reason we believe is found in a friendship with God," says Galliardt. Rock fans of all kinds are soaking up this music as TL begins their 2012 touring season.
